On January 6, 2017, SITTI and Key Laboratory of Terahertz Optoelectronics, Ministry of Education, Capital Normal University Signed a Long-term Cooperation Agreement, making use of their own advantages, the two sides will carry out close cooperation on the terahertz optoelectronic new technology exploration, terahertz application technology research and development and industrialization. They will work together to establish the Shenzhen Key Laboratory of Optoelectronics Ministry of Education in Shenzhen Institute of Terahertz Technology and Innovation.
Key Laboratory of Terahertz Optoelectronics, Ministry of Education, Capital Normal University was formally established in 2001which is the first key laboratory in the terahertz area approved by the Ministry of Education. In 2006 it was formally approved as Beijing "Terahertz Spectroscopy and Imaging" key laboratory. In 2007, it became the Key Laboratory of Terahertz Optoelectronics, Ministry of Education.
The two sides reached a long-term cooperation agreement, aimed at strengthening academic exchanges and cooperation to promote the development of terahertz technology. In the future, the two sides will give full play to their advantages of resources, will be diversified, all-round, multi-task situation to carry out cooperation, exchange and share information resources, carry out researchers exchange and training. Hope in the future their cooperation will create a model of school-enterprise cooperation.
