On April 21th, organized by Shenzhen Institute of Terahertz Technology and Innovation (SITTI), co-organized by Chongqing Institute of Green and Intelligent Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, the "Terahertz Substance Detection and Application" seminar was held at 101 conference room of China Communication Technology Co., Ltd.

Ding Qing, CCT Vice President and SITTI Executive Dean made a speech to the conference, briefly introduced China Communication Technology Co., Ltd and Shenzhen Institute of Terahertz Technology and Innovation. Subsequently, Prof. Cui Hongliang made a speech entitled: “Terahertz Spectroscopic Detection and Imaging of Biomolecules”, Prof. Ouyang Zhengbiao: “THz Twist Polarizer Based on Supramolecular Fermat's Spiral Chiral Metamaterial”, Prof. Zhu Yiming: “Biological Detection Based on Terahertz Imaging Technology”, Qin Hua: “FET THz near-field Scanning Probe", Chang Tianying：“Terahertz Nondestructive Testing Technology and Application”, Prof. Zhang Xinhai: “Terahertz Spectrometer and Its Application", Wei Dongshan：“Biological Macromolecular Terahertz Spectroscopy Study on Influence Factors”, Dr. Qi Chunchao: “Terahertz Technology Applied Research in Flammable and Explosive Field”，Dr. Han Lin: “Integration of Microfluidics and Terahertz Technology”, Dr. Pan Yi: “The Research of Terahertz Analysis Instrument”，Dr. Dong Rui：“THz Quantum Cascade Laser Application in Local Oscillator Development”. They all gave excellent reports and attendees conducted an in-depth discussion on the hot issues. After the meeting, Prof. Cui Hongliang, as the seminar planners, made highly of the meeting and suggested to hold the THz seminar regularly every year, in order to strengthen exchanges, mutual learning and mutual improvement.
